Nice to see the 40"min length we have up here in Maine is working out for you guys. It's really tough to see our breeders getting picked off before they ever make it to the spawning grounds.......just so you can get your pictures. Congrats on the timely release
backwater- you must love it when the comm guys take 30 a day! Kind of like how you guys toss 30 pike a day on the ice at sabbatus to protect your dumb trout fishery. But someone takes a 30lb bass in Boston harbor and you get butt hurt?
Back water, you do know those fish are migratory right.. How do you know that fish is one of yours. Just because the fish has to swim through Maine waters to get to where it was caught does not mean it is yours. Heck that fish has probably done the migration several times up and down the coast.Great striper....... Be proud of it.
last time I striper fished maine they did have a slot I believe it was you could keep one fish between 20-28 inches or 40 and over anything between 28 and 40 back in ...........nice fish bud
