Great bass... Congrats!  :clapping:

It's OK to keep one now and then...

Nice to see the 40"min length we have up here in Maine is working out for you guys.  It's really tough to see our breeders getting picked off before they ever make it to the spawning grounds.......just so you can get your pictures.  Congrats on the timely release ::)
@Backwater you are way off here. This isn't the place to argue size limits or whether or not to keep a fish. ebour is one of the finest anglers on this site.
Dana...
Glenn, get the net!

backwater- you must love it when the comm guys take 30 a day! Kind of like how you guys toss 30 pike a day on the ice at sabbatus to protect your dumb trout fishery. But someone takes a 30lb bass in Boston harbor and you get butt hurt?

Back water,  you do know those fish are migratory right..  How do you know that fish is one of yours.  Just because the fish has to swim through Maine waters to get to where it was caught does not mean it is yours.  Heck that fish has probably done the migration several times up and down the coast.

Great striper....... Be proud of it.

Yup, that fish would have been kept in Maine, which pretty much negates backwaters comment.
