took the boat and docks out

so much easier after last year getting iced in. will be kicking myself next weekend if its warm

Next weekend still looks d**n cold, but they are showing a trend towards 50’s for the following week. That being said I bet people will be walking on water Thursday if the weather predictions hold true.

just looking at the nightime temps, maybe i did the right thing for once.  never took the boat out this early before

  I hated to do it but I put my boat away this weekend.  If there is some kind of warm up and an opportunity to fish I can still get the row boat out if I am desperate.

looked upstream and the neighbors big pontoon looks locked in with 3, maybe 4 inches of ice. its easily thick enough to walk on
