Claytor lake

Hello to you people in Virginia,My familyand I are planning a trip to Virginia and will be staying at Claytor lake,near Blacksburg.Any information about the fishing will be appreciated.We'll be there mid April for a few days.I like to fish for crappie,please tell me there is crappie in there.What else?     Thanks ,Brooks

Hey man, there really isnt that many people on here from VA.... unless your above the mason-dixon line, you probably wo0nt get many responses, ive tried.  I have a friend from Blacksburg Ill ask him what he thinks. I know this time of year Virginny swtocks massive amounts of Bows, and Channel cats... also the bass fishing is heating up, so check out any lakes+ponds in the area... gluck
