I know down south opening day is May 8. Who's hitting the water and where?

I'll be checking out the holes on the South Sask. River. Be on the water well before the sun is up.

A friend of mine just bought a boat, so we will either go out to Rattlesnake or elkwater.  I have no idea on where to go on the South sask, any pointers?

A good place to start is under the bridge. Other spots include boat launch in Strathcona park, Seven Person creek in Strathcona Park, Redcliff Pumphouse.
