Been fishing the Missouri around the mouth of the Marias. There are fish in there but there's also a lot of water which is bringing a lot of snags with it. Headed to Peck in about three weeks. Woo Hoo!

my next trip is to the Spokane river where it enters Columbia to catch a few ling and walleyes.
Have to wait for the Spokane river to clear .
Hopefully middle of June.

Went to Tongue last week without any luck. Probably going to try it again tomorrow.

Fished a higher alpine lake yesterday. It had ice out earlier this week and was turning. Really bad water clarity and not many fish spawning yet. Caught 2 in 5 minutes and then nothing for two hours. Heading to gates in the morning.

I haven't targeted any major bodies of water, but have had a banner spring on perch on the lakes up here in my corner of the state...call it a hangover from the ice season, haha.

Went to Logan creek (a little north west of Kalispell) and didnt have any luck. Still high and muddy that way, but getting better.
