If they are chasing stuff down than I would go with a topraider or some other prop style bait.

If they are laid up in the weeds than I would go with a walk the dog bait like the Poe's Jackpot or Stidham Z180.

I love nailing a big musky in skinney water on topwater, that and on a figure 8 is 2 of my favorite strikes in musky fishing.

Would you do me a favor and check out "Understanding Tigers" that I posted and give me a hand?

Only fished for them once, caught one on Creek Chub Pikie, perch color. Lots of guys I know like to use the F11 and 13 sized Rapalas, perch and gold/black color. Got a tackle box full of lures after my first trip, haven't been able to go back since then.

My avatar is the Muskie I caught. 49" long, unknown weight. Currently relegated to my basement workshop (just moved)
looks more like a rabbit with a pancake on it's head!!! ???
