i for one hope it doesnt get out....kids loved him...and they dont need to see that...can you imagine some 8 year old who doesnt care if he "took too many risks" or "had it coming"...some little kid who loves him and his show...saw that? no thank you..i just read an article about it saying that to alot of kids...this is on par with princess diana dying or jfk being shot to adults.. it said they should talk to kids about what happened but to be very un objective and caring. they..nor their family should be exposed to the western fascination of seeing someone die on the news.

I agree FS

I would say your never gonna see it on the news. It might end up on the net someday, but never on the news.

i bet they do a life story or some sort of documentary on him, i would say that they will show some of  the footage up until the time he is stung. but i highly doubt the actual death will be shown on TV, but thats up to his wife and animal planet ???

I'm sure someone will be offering an obscene amount of money for that footage.
It seems to go from zero to hero all some have to do is lie.

NO !  I have heard about them and that's enough for me .
As an E.M.T.  I have seen my share of people die in accidents I don't need to see more on T.V. .
To each his/her own I guess .

Videotape of Australian "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin shows him pulling a deadly stingray barb from his chest just before he died.

Irwin's manager John Stainton said Irwin was being videotaped diving on a reef off Australia's northeast coast for a television show.

He told Australia's Network 10 that Irwin managed to pull the barb out of his chest but said it was too late, as the poison had already entered his body.

Irwin then went into cardiac arrest, news reports said.

Stainton described the footage of his friend dying as "terrible."

CNN says "Stainton will talk more about the footage on "Larry King Live" tonight at 9 ET. " ...Like we need to know more.... ???  That tape will come out somwhere IMO,looks like we all love the morbid.... :-\

I think dad is dead, but I do not believe it was an animal related death. Lung cancer seems to strike me as what it was, but I may be wrong.
