Martin switches to #5 car
« on: Jul 02, 2008, 11:45 AM »
Martin to drive for Hendrick in the 5 car. I really wish and hope he gets a championship. There is no classier driver that has ever raced in NASCAR than Mark Martin. I will be pulling for him next year and I'm an Earnhart fan.

Yep...Add another great race car driver for Hendrick.
They say that they (HMS) will anounce it in the press conference Friday..
Aric Almirola will be in the 8 full time for the '09 season.

he wants to do the part time thing. so I think that a championship is out of the question. He may share seat time with Kesolowski.

I hope he's driving full time....I think if you want to race that calibur then its full time or not at all! If he doesn't want to be doing it full time then retire or drop down to another circuit....just my thoughts
