What size perch would you keep and what would you throw back?

Assuming you mean white perch.... enough for a meal or two.... I typically keep them if there over 10" and let the smaller ones go (I just dont like filleting them smaller ones.)

If your looking for yellow perch help, i'd go to New York for some good anwsers.

I usually toss the Perch back but if I get a good one close to 10" or over I keep it at times if I need a bit more to make a meal. Im talking yellow perch.

here(Maine) is toss em all on the ice or shore  (Yellow perch) too many of em  and most are full of parasites

If it's in a stocked trout lake, I usually kill them all.

Anywhere else, I'll usually keep them up to 12 inches.

I usally throw everything under 11ins back .In Lake of the Praires most are over a foot anyway

to tell ya the truth with me and its the spring its depends on the sex of the fish 10 inches for all, but the nine inch males go home. the males have more meat during the spawn than females

Once a perch is nearing the 13in and up mark they nearing the end of their cycle.I would much rather eat a 12.5 than a nine in perch thats all
