Went to Ness lk on the weekend but did not bring my ice auger. Thought I could launch the pontoon boat but the ice was too thick still. So I went to eena lk and same thing lots of ice. Well wait for more warmer days then should be good to go. Had the open water stuff in the truck and headed down south. Fished ALL day used every fly I had and only produced one hit when I was going back to the boat launch. Still was a good day just to get out and swim with the ducks and geese. Saw one boat land a fish trolling hardware in deep water. All in all a bad days fishin still better the a good days work. Tight lines
