I'm sitting in a hotel in Mankato MN after a 6 hour drive from Iowa, it dropped 15 degrees on the way. I love your nice cool weather!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully I can catch some fish this week!

Alright I dont like your storms! That SUCKED  last night, looked out the window and the boat and trailer were rocking back and forth in the wind, thought for sure it was going over.

I'm heading to richmond over by st. cloud to fish the horseshoe chain on the sauk river.

The kitties and bass are biting.  Not sure how the storm will change their mood, though.

Catfish are about the last thing I want to catch here. I just left the Mississippi river to come here, if I wanted to catch catfish I would have stayed home. LOL

I'm hoping to get into the bass and pike.

Try some top water baits at night had some luck last week with pike.

Thanks, I will try that for sure. I just went out for a little flipping jigs but the waves from the ski boats were screwing up everything.

i try to stay away from lakes with alot of recreational boating.but some times thats the way it goes.

It is my considered opinion that all lake's should be divided equally between fishermen and recreational boater's. The recreational boater's can have the bottom half! DIRTBALL2

I slept in this morning, figured all the boat traffic would screw everything up. I just walked down to the dock and caught a 15" bass on topwater, in the waves and everything. Must have been one hungry largie.
