Salmon run good this year in the fraser river
« on: Aug 14, 2010, 03:01 AM »
The natives have set up fishing camps were Bridge river flows into the Fraser and the drying racks are filling up.

They fish on the edge of some pretty fast water. Nice to see sockeye are coming back in good numbers. Should be up here soon if not now. Anyone check it out?

Pics look good to me. Nice to see a good return. Kinda reminds me of Mexico and the vendors on the streets selling their goods hiding under the shade of the tarps. Must be the heat getting to my head.

I always get a few sockeye while fishing for bows this time of year on Stuart Lake. They are quickly released.
I heard last week they were getting a bunch in Babine Lake by the Fulton River where you can keep them.
