Hmmm.  Been to Brownlee once before.  I've got a friend that goes all the time.  I'll give him a call and see what's up.

According to the web site Idaho Fish & Hunt (http://www.idfishnhunt.com/swidrpt.htm) there's still ice on the water in spots.  Rumor says that the crappie are starting to bite.

I called my buddy and he verified that they had good success fishing in the canyon (that's what he calls it I don't think that's the real name) for crappie.  FYI he fishes in a float tube exclusively.

Anyone been over there in the last couple of days?  I'm anxious to here a report.  Does anyone know if you can get in to Mountain Man Lodge on the roads yet, or are they too muddy/snowy?  I imagine most of the snow is gone by now, but with all the recent rain the road is probably pretty sloppy.
Keep your gun powder dry and your fishing hooks wet.
