Caught this Laker today while out on the boat with my dad and my little brother. First Lake Trout I have caught, so I am pretty stoked about it. it was actually caught on the exact lure that Anthony caught his big laker on through the Ice not all that long ago. Just jigging it off the bottom!

Thanks. I know its not huge, but I was pretty excited when I heard the zing of it pulling the line out to make a run after it saw the boat! 4lb line and light gear is where its at for trout!

Hate to be a stick-in-the-mud, but is that thing 24" long? It needs to be, to be legal. I can't tell by the picture. Nice job anyway, though. Pactola? I've been waiting for the rain to stop so I can get up there. You should let us know how that thing tasted. I've never eaten a lake trout, but like to eat rainbows good enough.
