Recent trip:
« on: Jul 07, 2011, 12:20 AM »
Headed north for a lil adventure, stopped by the causeway and inspected- was fair amount of debris in water, only tried a few casts with no success so i continued on:

came across 11 baby grouse-biggest bunch ive ever seen with one momma- tho by the time i got the cam out only one was left behind the momma and the rest disappeared into the tall grass. that lil rock lookin thing behind the mom is actually a chick hehe..

Fishing was steady:

Few average sized bows

Until this lunker of the day decided to bite my fly

Solid/healthy fish- 3-4+ pounds id guess.
Pix always suck when taken em in a lil inflatable boat by yerself...
For some reason the fish seem wayy smaller when they get their picture taken ??? ???
Was a fun outing with about 8 fish caught...
