Brownlee
« on: Apr 18, 2012, 12:37 PM »
New here, just thought I would add an update to Brownlee from a trip last week.

Fishing not so good. The water was dropping 2 feet a day.... 8 feet while I was there. We caught 2 crappie total. Both 13 inches, nice fish.
We also caught a couple of nice bass, but over all, very slow and hard to get any bites.
I also heard that they are planning to drop the water down 54 feet from full in anticipation of run off.

We had fun but disappointed in the crappie.  we might hit Lake Lowell Saturday.

Does anyone know if Brownlee has a good age class of fish for this summer?

got a report that they were catching a few at brownlee lately, pretty nice ones too, 13"+ fish, I doubt it will last very long though... wish I had the time...
