28 and an hour ago they said we had 15" here at the airport.
It's over 18" now.
I went out an hour ago and got "maybe" 15% done and the drive belt for the chute is slipping.
New belt I just installed a week or so back.
I'll try to adjust it but I'm pretty sure it's now glazed.
I'll try roughing it up with some emery cloth.
It's in the garage with the furnace on defrosting.

We’re closing in on 2’ I’d say. And it’s snowing steady. Gotta go out for some shoveling and to clear off the bird feeders.

In Irondequoit, 26 cloudy and a fine snow falling with only 10 inches on the ground; drifts to 2 ft. however! 74 days until trout season opens;won't be long. ;D ;D ;D

We looked all over locally.  Dada!

Jeff took it into our shop and a guy welded it back up for us.
I then reinforced it with a large flat washer when I put it back on.
It will probably last forever, but we have the new pulley coming Thursday.
It worked enough to clean up things.
I just got in from doing it all.
Donna and I shoveled on and off all day and only had one side of the drive cleared.
It was heavy and then the plow came thru.

Again, winter sux canal water.

24 and windy. Had to shovel this morning.our plow guy has Covid.

The good news is after emailing the highway superintendent. He sent a truck over and cleared out our driveway entrances. This morning the operator plowed the opposite direction and the entrance was pretty clear.
