what is the best size and the best kind and for what fish
i used them last year and had a 6lb LM bass. and lost it at the shore
also alot of bullhead

Frogs that live in water, like green frogs, bullfrogs, and leopard frogs. They work well for the pikes, bass, and the catfish. From 2-4 inches is the sizes I like to use.

Nothing like fishing with frogs at night - hook'em through the thigh and lob them out to swim around-either you will here the splash of an attacking bass or you line will suddenly become tight- count to 10 and heave back. Be sure to check your local regs.,some states have banned the use of lepoard frogs for bait.

For bowfin we used to catch frogs hook them through there lips and bash them open on the rocks. Toss that out and just let it sit.
