Put new polyurethane tires on my band saw this morning. Made. Difference in tracking and vibration. Not an OMG kind of a difference, but very noticeable.

The old saw runs pretty darned smooth.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Your engine has been running a few more years than mine , but I was thinking about myself when I posted that.
 Wish I had your stamina… ;D
I’m going to the foot Doc and the chiropractor tomorrow morning…  :-\

Well, at my age pains just seem to travel around. Here one day…there tomorrow. One develops a tolerance I guess.

Bourbon helps some. I enjoy it anyway…with good chocolate.

Prototype “ puzzle truck”

Think these will sell next summer at the market.

I can’t take credit for the idea. I’ve seen them before prowling around the internet.

Drew another type up this morning that I’ll make today. I’d like to end up with one, two and three car designs that I can make templates for. They’re pretty cool.

This is what I came up with this morning when I woke up at 4:00 and couldn’t go back to sleep.

Changed the concept quite a bit.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Thanks but, Just an old fart with a wood shop. It’s how I manage to keep my brain working….most of the time anyway.

Went to buy some note pads for the kitchen today ( I still hand write notes and shopping lists). The dollar store wanted $1 for a little notepad with about 20 pages. I thought there must be something better.

Thought about a bit and remembered seeing something like this somewhere. Gathered some scraps and made this .

500’ of note paper for $2.88 at Walmart. That’s more like it.

My Bride said I should have been an inventor. Told her I thought I was…sort of.

You’ll probably notice the day and date written on the board. She does this every day so I know what day it is. Like I said, most of my brain still works.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.
