I would drive to Macedon and egg his house if he was a Giants or Jets fan.

Thanks Mac.
You can relax. I haven't watched a football game since high school.....and only then because I dated a cheerleader.

I was worried there for a few minutes.
Thought Boon had some inside dirt on you.

Happy Sunday!

C'est fini!

Kind of anti climatic. Been working on this for 6 weeks or so. Actually, it didn't take as long as I anticipated.

What next..........what next.

One more with the one we're after and we'll have two.

Thanks guys. It was a fun build. While my son and I played yesterday afternoon, I noticed that I no longer looked at the set as a project, but as chess pieces on a chess board. An interesting feeling.

The turd beat me and I suspect he's gonna  continue to do so.

I screwed up with the scroll saw yesterday and broke the upper blade lock. I wasn't paying attention to the tension adjustmant and pushed the cam lever down hard enough to break the aluminum casting. So.......another $25 invested. Part should be here in a couple days. I'll be back at the Saw by the weekend.

In the mean time I'm planning out the wall boards for he two vertical chess sets and I owe a couple people yoyos.

Wow, that is some beautiful work rg! Definitely a true artist. Looks great!!
Do you think fish go home and lie about all the bait they stole?

Early to bed, early to rise
Fish all day and make up lies...

There's a reason they call it fishing, not catching.

"what's next?" How about turkey box calls....  ;)  My friend made one a little smaller than the store bought models, it  had such a sweet tone that he wouldn't part with it.

My blanks!!!

Well, they finally showed up today.
Jeff says it will take him a week or so to completely turn, route them for the reel feet, and then finish them.
I'll post pics of them when they are done.

I've made more turkey calls than I can count. Took my first bird on a call I made in my first millwork shop.

I've been upgrading my dust collection a bit. The next project involves a lot of sanding and processing of relatively small parts. So, i made an insert for my router table that will serve as a downdraft system for sanding parts. I also made new plexiglas blast gates to replace the plywood ones I made initially.

Free standing or wall mounted?
