Ribs were buttery tender. Thank heavens there's a few leftovers.

Large can of Grandma Browns baked beans.
A large squirt of French’s yellow mustard.
1/2 pound bacon
2 small chopped onions.
1/2 cup of brown sugar.
Mix it all up.
Smoke it.
I never cover it
I stir it 3-4 times to mix in the crust off the top.

Donna loves it!!

RG, how did the bacon work? I like the smoke generator. Great idea.
The Moink balls were a big hit. Before and after shots. Pics got mixed up.



The venison burnt ends too.



The pulled chicken too.


I also did a fried cabbage and tomato dish.


It looks like everyone had a great weekend with good food and good friends.

Glad to hear that. I did 5 pounds of bacon. It didn't last 15 minutes. I even cut it into 2" pieces. Got a bunch of hungry vultures here.

It's easy Bob.
Add anything you want to it.
Peppers, mushrooms, garlic, hard boiled egg, hot sauce, maple syrup, bourbon, beer, etc.
You cannot make them bad.

Beans will have to wait. Store was completely sold out of Grandma Browns. I won't eat Bush's.
I'm thinking those beans would be great with smoked Mac and cheese.

Cold smoked some hard boiled eggs and cheese this morning.



The smoke generator worked like a charm. Added a little air valve to adjust the flow a bit. It'll produce a ton of smoke if I want it.

 I wasn't particularly happy with the smoke from the apple pellets. It seemed to produce something like a creosote. The cheese was on an expanded metal grate and came out fine. The eggs were on the racks and had some blackish lines on them. They taste ok, but don't look the way I want them to. I'll use chips next time.

I understand them black marks. I turned some to even out the color. What a mistake. Now I leave them alone.I am looking.for a.way to avoid it without much luck. A paper towel takes some off. The worst stay home for me. Serve them after dark. Nobody will notice.

No one said anything but yum! Glad it wasn't something I did wrong. Think I'm going to take a couple of the expanded
Metal toppers and make them kind of wavy so the eggs will stay in place. That's why I put them in the rack to begin with because they wanted to roll into each other. He cheese on the toppers showed no black marks at all.

I do have a question though. Do you guys ever try to clean the insides of your smokers? Or is it kind of like seasoning the smoker?

  The smoked pork butt was a huge hit! Didn't have time for pics, too much going on. However my 42'nd year began with lots of smiles and laughs! Smoked a Wabbit, came out good, but the biggest hit was the smoked Bacon wrapped, sausage stuffed Jalapeno poppers, omg wish I got a pic before the vultures descended.

12 jap's halfed and de-seeded leave the pith.
1 pack wegmans Buffalo  chicken sausage.
cream cheese, chedar jack.
1/4 piece uncured bacon PP
2 hours at 250
d**n.....

Seasoning. I only scrape any loose material from mine. Any grease that missed the drop pan is scraped up off the bottom each use. I don't have a glass door to worry about.

Welcome to the world of ABT's (atomic buffalo turds). As you found out they are the hit of the party. Try a chunk of raw shrimp on them sometime too. The sky is the limit with flavor combo's.

I'm working on the creosote problem. This cold smoking has me mesmerized. I see so many possibilities.
