Geminides
« on: Dec 14, 2021, 03:06 AM »
Just came in from watching the meteor shower for a couple hours. Pretty darned spectacular. Saw some long trailing meteors. The weather and moon did me a favor. Clear skies and moon set about 3 am.

Best one I’ve viewed in a long time. Maybe 100 per hour.
If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Dog gone it. I was up off and on all night babysitting my smoker. I wish I knew about the show. I could have been entertained watching it.

Saw quite a few more on my walk down the canal path. It’s going on for a few more nights if you get the urge to view. I get up pretty early so I’ll probably have my coffee outside again tomorrow morning.
