The LA's -
charge them up, remove the wires from the terminal posts and leave them in the boat
The LiFePo4 -
run it down to between 40-60% SOC, remove the wires from the terminal posts and leave it in the boat

Leave it in the boat and charge it in the spring.
Pretty simple really.

Charged all 5, turned battery switch to 0 on 2 running batteries and just unplugged trolling motor on those 3. Typically plug in the onboard charger when I uncover and if the others need a charge I'll hit them too. Usually just turn the switch to the 2 and go fishing.

Minnkota 4 bank charger also plugged in all winter on the stratos. The proline just turn the battery switch off. I use it enough to have the 2 batteries charged constantly.

I pull my three Odysseys out of my boat when she hibernates for the winter at an off-premise, indoor storage facility. I charge them to 100% then store them in my spare bedroom closet for the winter. I'll throw them on the charger for an hour or two to top them off the night before I bring the rig home for soft water season. After that, the onboard charger does the rest.
