How deep do you fish for largemouth bass? And which fishfinder is best for bass fishing?

Depends on time of year. In the spring when the spawn is on they like the shallow water and sight fishing works the best, as the water gets warmer I fish for them from 20 feet deep to 2 feet deep. Just depends on what tatic I want to use. I love my helix 7 with the side imaging and down imaging, but also like the auto chart live to map areas of the lakes or ponds to better understand the cover or humps that hold fish.

I fish for almost all my LM with topwater. I have caught bass from early spring to the first week of Dec. in NH on topwater, mostly at night. Pads if I am fishing for bass during the day.
