If you fish for that many different kinds of  fish you should make fish chowdah.   ;D

In the open water I fish with a hook, sinker and slipbobber for crappie, gills, perch,
and 'eyes.  I mostly use live bait (minnies and worms).  I have been known to fish
with an ice jig over the side of the boat with a waxie at times too.  I'm just looking for
a fish dinner.

I fish for pike all season long, in the soft water season I love to toss the rogues on the bait caster. I also fish for trout in small streams near my house using an ultra light spining rod with spinners and rapalas. I mainly fish rubber worms and spinner baits for bass, using the bait caster most of the time. Any walleye fishing or pan fishing is done with a light spinning rod. Basically I try and catch anything.

I would call myself a jack of all trades and a specialist in trolling trout and salmon.  I icefish, soft water fish, and fly fish.  Most of my time is spent on the open waters of Lake Ontario.

Gambell, how are ya?! Nice to see you here, I'll look for you on the IBay threads.

Myself, I'm a diversafied fisherman with a few specialties. I'll do alot of live bait throughout the year and for alot of diferent species. I like and have rubber worming big bass down pretty well. I'll go from the outlets to the streams in early spring for trout and love small spinners in the creeks. I'll shift to bullheading  and cats at night with live bait and then hit some trolling for pike and large drum by late spring. After ice out, jack perch and crappie on fatties, niagara's, or goldens. Summer, pike and bass mostley on live and artificial. In between the kids and I panfish and come up with all sorts of surprises, green perch, big golden shiners, bowfin, eels, those of course are on the side of " lookit' that" and "holy cow, I can't believe it" Need to learn walleyes and downrigging for trout and salmon then off shore in that order probably!

Shawner,

You will not see many I-bay postings from me until fall.  I spend 99.9% of the open water season on Lake Ontario.  You might see me heading North from Newport Marina.

Catch and release. I release anything I catch because I really don't like to eat fish. I do keep some of the salmon I get every fall out of Lake Ontario because my family and friends like them. I don't specialize, just catch whatever is biting.

I'll rig for anything that's swimming around.  Generally prepared for bass, toothies and walleye in the river, but love the cats at night and the occasional crappie fest when the conditions dictate.  I use the fly gear and the UL stuff in the spring for trout in the local streams and some bigger gear for my parents camp on Champlain.  I also like to make a pilgrimage to the ocean once a year for a little tug-o-war with the saltier creatures.  If it lives under the surface of the water, I'm IN!

I'm pretty much a walleye addict but love to stream fish for trout and eat filets of anything desirable.

Perch, gills, crappies, pike, SM Bass, whatever provides a meal.  I try to learn a new presentation each year.  Last year I really focused on jigs and the slip bobber rigs.   This year I learned how to make casting harnesses so I'm anxious to try em out.   I really like to sneak around the inland lakes here in SE Michigan at night when all the boats are gone.  I catch just about everything after dark.
care for a warm up?

I fish mostly for Walleyes in the warm weather. I also enjoy panfish in the lakes that are close to me and fishing for Salmon on Lake Oahe. I'm in South Dakota. :)

I'm patient and willing to use whatever methods necessary to catch fish. Especially if it involves finessing bass with soft plastics. ;D

I have styles I'm good at more than others. In the spring I'm pretty good at catching big bass on husky jerks or 1/32 oz jigs. Also pick up lots of specs and gills that way. Come summer I only use small jigs for panfish, no bait. Or the fly rod with a white spider. Chase the bass with spinnerbaits and plastic worms, the later being my top choice. I also throw the frog around the grass and pads.

I’m a lake trout specialist. Probably the best troller on Seneca Lake. I’m strictly a deep troller. I know every trick in the book and old fork tail cant hide from me. I fish for perch pike and crappie for fun but it’s hard for me to give up my laker fishing

Looking forward to lots of pictures of trophy fish all summer long from you Mr. modest ::)
