The state has stocked a few places. In Western Ma. Fish and wildlife have a web page with stocking info.

in western mass, onota, laurel lake + stockbridge bowl were all stocked this week. heres the site

onota has some large ice chunks floating around, but i went today at the cause way and fished for about 1hr 10mins, and got one trout,16"er, thelake was crowded.
