Trolled Hard Today for about 4 hr from Nahant to Deer Island

My friend Justin and Myself went out looking for Blues and Bass  nothing we did mark some fish around 60 feet nothing up we tried plugs umbrella rigs sluggo's deep. No Fish to be found,not today anyways.It was a great day to be on the water.The Bass haven't been around Lynn and Revere too much I sure when they start coming in,I have a few people I let know right Karl.     Be Safe       Art

Same way off of Race last weekend Art. It was a hard two days to get 8 keepers between 12 of us. What we did catch had empty bellies. I'm going to try and find out where the bait is. That's where the big ones will be.

Last Saturday, my wife and I trolled tube and worm rigs in Long Island Sound, more specifically around Fishers Island. It's normally a very leisurely way to connect with a lot of stripers this time of year. Only landed and released one, 32" if I stretch the truth a little. Lost two others. People were diving nearby and said there were a lot of bass around. I dunno.

After the tide tuned outgoing, the scup would steal your worm as soon as you let out line, sometimes 20' behind the boat. We weren't there to feed the scup! PITA to keep checking lines and exhausting an expensive supply of bait.

Might go out later today for fluke and stay until dark to fish live eels for bass.

bass fishing sucked this year in narragansett bay. the bay warmed up too fast with too much bait and now they are gone and i havn't even got my first keeper yet.  call me art if you have an open seat. i'll buy the worms.

Fish should be coming up there, The canal just got are push of resident fish this week but they are very under fed
