Help with motor identification

Hi, I just bought a canoe that came with a Mariner 2 hp outboard motor.  I've tried to figure out what year it is but haven't had any luck yet.  I found a few hits on google for serial numbers lower than mine that matched a 1980 and a 1981 motor.  My motor's info:  Model 2M, Code 6A1, Serial 105162.  Does anyone know how to find out what year it is?  And better yet, does anyone know how to find possible values for this motor, its in nice shape and works fine.  Is there such thing as a Kelly Blue Book for outboards?

www.nada.com has an outboard value section under boats.  It said $50 for a 1980 2hp Mariner but you could expect to get $100 or a little better if it ran decent.
