Tried them all out this morning. Caught a bluegill on each👍

I like the longer ones best. They lay flat and stand with a bite. Picked up some paint that my son (a very talented artist) recommended.  I’m going to order a low rpm motor and make a device to turn them slowly to paint and possibly wrap.

Kind of makes me wish I still had my rod lathe. It would have been perfect for this. But, I’ll come up with something.

If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Just ordered 100 premium agglomerated wine corks. Finest grained corks I could find.

Me too!

My neighbor just gave me a keyless chuck to use for my “bobber assembly tool”. I’m not really sure what that’s going to look like yet....but it’s a start.

The tv stand should be mite functional than the pellet stove!

Thanks everyone, it keeps me out of trouble working in the shop. Probably should have started a new thread instead of hijacking RG's , sorry about that.

All woodworking projects are welcome here. Can’t say I’ve spent much time in the shop this summer. Done more fishing than anything else.

I’m ok with that.

Since there are a few woodworkers here, I have a question.  I have a cast iron table saw that had water dripping on it from an AC unit (now corrected).  The top is covered in rust. I have read some suggestions on using navel jelly, or some of the newer Rustoleum products along with 400 grit scotch brite or sandpaper.  Does that sound like a correct method of bringing the top back to a new condition?  I planned to treat with paste wax after it is cleaned off too.  Thanks for any suggestions,
