Title: Few Eyes today.

Went North for some redemption after several brutal local fishing trips.  We boated 80-90 of these things and missed 40 or so.  It was a fine day for sure. Dan's Minnkota battery was dead so we just drifted and chucked flicker shads and plastics. Biggest was 22" or so, biggest kept was like 19.5". good eaters!

Looks like there so skinny they would eat anything.
 What’s the main forage food  for them?

I think mostly bugs and crawdads now. Lake is getting low due to drought.
