yea, the river they were in is located through alot of cattle pasture... i've never heard of anybody eating them.... so i never tried! good experience though!
Don't count them out because of a little farm runoff! Some of the best tasting bullheads I have ever eaten have come out of a lake with the darkest water I have ever seen. The water in this particular lake flows in through bogs and farm country. The water is very "fertile", but the fish are very good to eat.
