If I would mention the name on here my fishing buddies would string me up.One time somebody gave directions to our spot and that year was nuts, trash all over etc. It's not a huge lake like some others in other parts of the country,so a little publicity could have a negative effect. It's funny that some people fish it and swear there's no fish in it.We know different.

The Finger Lakes are king. They all hold enormous populations of perch and the size will scare you!

LONG AND CRANBERRY PONDS (MONROE COUNTY) IN THE SPRING AFTER
ICE IS OUT. EASY TO FISH , I USE 2" TUBE WHITE/CHARTREUSE JIG ON
1/32 LEADHEAD BELOW A 2 1/2" TORPEDO CASTING BOBBER , ADJUSTED
SO THAT THE JIG JUST DRAGS ON BOTTOM. TIPPED WITH PERCH EYE
IF BITE IS SLOW. I ALSO TIGHT LINE WITH MINNOWS IF CONDITIONS
WARRANTS. YOU GET GOOD QUALITY FISH FROM SHORE.
THEY ARE THERE FOR THE TAKING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go to Lake schitzophrenia and you will get some monster 20 inch long 15" girth pot belly perch. That doesn't even count the spawning females, and you can keep 100 a day, and you can catch 200 in an hour easy with a 2 hook rig!!!!!!!
