If you use a three way swivle, use a lighter mono to tie the weight. If you get hung up you should get your lure back. Good luck.

i use a pink and white foxy jig with a minnow icefishing. it works well.

Don't hold your breathe for any but I'm sure hoping I can hook a few....I've never caught a Laker before so I'm really wanting to battle one. Especially if its a big one and its 60ft down that's a good distance to battle one from the bottom I would think they fight pretty good.

well they aren't known to be big fighters but they're still fun to catch. Seems late and early season they fight harder. anyways though it sounds like youde almost be better jigging but either way good luck and i hope u catch one. it's the best time of year for them

well no lake trout... >:(

we tried in 40-70 feet of water but no dice, but we did have some luck with Pike so it wasn't a complete failure. Biggest one was 30".
