Saugeye??

Without seeing the tail and without a reference guide handy, I am going to say Sauger.
-
Based on the black spots on the dorsal I'm going to say sauger. It's not a saugeye or a Walleye ;)
-
sauger
-
For variety's sake, I'll say zander. 8)
-
what the *&%^*&^ is a zander anyway!??? ???
-
The scientific name for zander is Sander lucioperca (or Stizostedion lucioperca), and it is a relative of perch.
I think the pic in the original post is a sauger.

at first glance it looks like a ratfish
-
That strange fish looks to be an abyss species, dark coloration, large eyes, perhaps a snaggletooth fish. :-\
WW
-
Walley?
-
Could be a Saugeye cross between a walleye and a sauger..
-
That's definitely without a doubt a bluegill
-
I would defiantly say if it was brave enough to bite my hook its called DINNER!!

Some sort of Ratfish or Chimaera , not certain of the exact species.
They are a deep sea primitive relative of the shark.
-

fishus delicious

Sauger
Sauger??????
-
Matt Damon.....
-
Thats easy a small walleye!
-
Sauger all the way ;D
-
[Well, it has all the classic sauger characteristics. the eyes, spots on the dorsal fin thinner body than the walleye. twelve spines on fin as opposed to 14-16 for a walleye. I live close to a lake that has a very pure strain of saugers, and that looks like a classic to me.
