Raq, thanks for the info on the Lake. Over the years I heard lots so stories about the lake going in from my Uncles. One of which was a great outdoorsman. He fished, trapped and hunted the area before the lake went in. He rowed a boat though the Fishhouse bridge as the lake rose. We would go walking in the Fall when the lake was low and he could tell us what house or barn stood on the foundations we saw, where the roads led to, etc. The house I grew up in was moved to just outside what is now the campsite. I have an old map of all the roads and houses that was done before the lake went in. It was done by the Army Core of Eng. of what would be flooded. They didn't have GPS back then but they were dead on with what would be flooded.....h2l

Good going H2L.

I havnt been out since my trip to Seneca two weeks ago. Kinda itching but with the holiday weekend I may just leave the boat at home and avoid the aggravation. Maybe next weekend..

How’s the water leveling doing?

Water level is still doing good.
Had a good weekend last weekend, 7 keepers and probably 15 throwbacks by 11am Saturday and 10 keepers on Sunday by 1030am. The launch was dead last weekend . i may try to get out this weekend again.

First visit in 4weeks. Water at a great level for this time of year. Friday night, 2 keepers. Sat with wife hit and misses. Zero Wally’s. Sunday 2 shorts and living for their future. Found their stacked “school” and had to leave. Everything is off “ to the side” this year.

Been without internet for about 12 days. Have been fishing and it has gotten better. The last 2 trips have caught 18/20 walleyes. Only 8 or so keepers and nothing over 17". Bass have been hitting pretty good in 24 to 26 fow. Caught 15 or so. Also boated a 37 inch pike. All on jigs. Fished the contest on Sat. 14 walleyes and 2 bass. My cousin took 2nd place in the walleye with a 19 incher. Water temp 68 degrees and is about normal level for this time of year....h2l

Nice Job H2L. I was out Friday as well trolling. Bite was great until about 10 am. 10 walleye, 2 jumbo perch, one small SMB and one rockie. All the walleye were short  :'(  Biggest was just a hair under 15. Not giving up entirely on daga for the year, but I may pivot back to Lg and Champ for the final weeks...
