Title: Crock pot keilbasa
Post by: F.R.E.D. on Apr 02, 2010, 06:40 AM
Ingredients:
2lbs keilbasa
1 lrg white onion
1 shallot
3-4 cloves of garlic
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
1/4 cup mustard (don't skimp here)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons cajun seasoning or franks red hot (if you want hotter try adding red pepper)
salt and pepper to taste

Slice sausage into 1-inch rounds; place in slow cooker along with the chopped onion/shallot. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over sausage and onions. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours. Serves 6.

You could pan fry or grill keilbasa if you like it alittle crispy. (will reduce crock pot time)
