Walleye Trip Suggestions
« on: Jun 28, 2017, 05:01 PM »
Hey guys, the lake reports are a little dead so I figured I'd start a thread. Looking to head out to some walleye waters sometime within the next two weeks. Usually I'd head to Boysen, but with the clarity of the water in the places I'm used to fishing, I'm very apprehensive. Thinking either Pathfinder or Seminoe....maybe both, as my excursion will probably be 2 1/2 days. Anybody have a nod for one or the other??? Haven't heard any reports, but did fish Pathfinder last year and was able to catch 5 in about 4 hours of fishing.

I'd like to hit Keyhole but that's a little far for me! Glendo is a maybe.....

I have heard all the lakes around Riverton are fishing slow, some guys went up to Bull lake and only got 4 lakers and they were the only boat to stay until noon with an early start.  Boysen has been slow, but heard below the dam has produced some nice fish.  Talked to a few that have fished boysen and they said they caught a couple but hard fishing for the few that took the bait and lots of debris in the water made it hard to fish a lot of places.  They were thinking of hitting pathfinder to see if that could be better fishing but have not heard how they did yet.  Good luck.
