Funny- I was thinking as I opened this thread that I have to scan the old fishing pictures (remember the "instant" ones you peeled off- and waited a minute for them to develope? got alot of those holding small stream browns) I love the old pics you guys have put up- especially the old automatic fly reel- I got pretty good at taking those apart- cleaning & re-assembling them! Thanks for the thread RG, may have to hit the small water after the next good rain- the BIG (over 12" !!!!) browns come out to feed then!

heres a pic of my "crick" where  i first learned to cast a rod, me and my dad and a couple friends have hualed some beautiful brookies outta there over the years

great pictures  i liked the  one with the old  automatic fly reel! one sets's on my tying bench :) ...thank you so much for  sharing  what is   family and personal pictures like that  :)

Nope, my mother's family is from Columbia & Greene Counties.  It just so happens that I was showing her this thread a moment ago, and she guessed the the picture was probably taken in Leeds on the Catskill Creek, or one of its feeders.

Love to crick fish with my boys.  Here's one of my favorite photos of my youngest from a couple of years ago with a nice brook and brown that he got with a little help from dad
