The start of soft water season is here. Dusting off the long poles and getting ready, time 2 c if the fish r hungry. Anyone else planning on going?

Going to hit Indian lake in the buckeye state for saugeye on Tuesday I believe.

I hear ya. Tuesday and Wednesday both look like prime days to be fishing. Can't wait.

friends from wawasee say they are getting a bunch of big perch out from their cottage.  had 37 keepers one day i talked to him.  he been hitting them every day in the afternoon evening.  worms and bobbers is all it takes.  have to try and get over there before its over.

Got the long poles out last Wed and did good on gills and red ears in the shallow water using wet flies.  Went yesterday got a few but not as good as last week.  Will wait on the next warm days to head out again.
