Nice pics reelamster. Man you were not kidding when you said the cats you caught were skinny. Nice fish but the poor things look like they are not eating or have a lack of prey toeat.makes you wonder why? The opposite on the red. They were really fat for their length. Heck maybe the Assiniboine has weight watcher cats. ;D ;D ;D

Bw The Assinniboine had a hard winter this year combined with colder than usual water temps last fall i saw 6 big cats floating dead? This year alot of fish are all head real skinny.Didn't see the big sucker run this spring either in the river.Here is RM and a master Drum

[That is strange. If the cats were floating dead it makes you wonder where the other fish went. I wonder if they were released in the wronf manner or did I read your post wrong. That is to bad as these fish are so much fun to catch. take care buddy!!! P.S  Nice drum reelmaster!!!!

the cats were dead floating within 60 ft stretch of shoreline in the fall. in the spring many other fish were found dead all species. >:(
