It's in AK.  Became entangled in wire just before they tightened it up as they were building the line  8)

Maybe the snow was that high at one time and he just ran in to the wires and got killed!
By the time someone found him, the snow had melted down but it was still cold enough to preserve the body!

Thats what I was thinking. Looking at the tensioner or whatever that is and how it's stressed and hanging down so much further than the one on the left

I googled it.  Sounds like it survived for a time after they got it down.

my first thought was the snow but then I remember seeing this a few weeks ago and it said that they strung him up when they tightened the wire up

Yeah, he got cranked up with the wires. I guess they took him down and then he either died or had to be euthanized. Pretty wild stuff.

I would have guessed a D.E.C. transplant by air and got too low in flight !
What are the odds of that happening ? Poor s.o.b. was strolling along just minding his own business trying to get something to eat and out of nowhere This wire pops up and snags his rack and up he goes .
Imagine what was going through that animals mind .

That is half way to the grill.  All you would need to do is gut it and butcher it!
