well thatss not near where i wasfishing. but i do fish near clayton sometimes. thats just trolling for the big girls though
-
what do u use and do u have alot of luck?
-
got to be honest with you, most the time fishing muskies on the st. lawrence is like finding a needle in a haystack. we troll 10" believers, straight and jointed. i like perch, finlander, and nine dollar bass colors. we do better at night trolling, until november. i dont know the clayton area particularly well. ask some locals or go to the bait shop they'll give you a heads up on a few trolling passes. if your ever in the massena area let me know ill put you on some fish
-
oh and if you guys were wondering the bigger musky was 50" and probably a little over 30 pounds. she ate a loon colored topraider.
-
cant wait to try first time on muskys next week
-
where at?
Theyve been eating right before dark mostly. Walk the dog baits have been producing wicked! With these hot days we wont even go out on the water till 8pm or so.
