I need a tilt motor for it and it's gunna cost like 500 bucks. I'd rather just manually tilt the motor when needed rather than spend a whole bunch of money on it. Any suggestions how to do this? How would I keep the motor down when put in reverse? I was going to buy a trolling motor to go on the boat but if I have to fix the tilt I won't be able to afford that. Thanks for the help guys.

Try Sierra Boat parts...you will need your model# and they may be able to supply pump and cylinder kits at a much lower price. Some have rebuilt pumps and cylinders.
