I am just wondering why this board is so slow compared to the (RI) ice shanty board. I mean there could be multiple threads a day on the RI ice shanty site. Very good meaningful discussions on the RI ice site. Catch of the day picture sharing, i looked forward to every day opening that site and seeing what was going on, who was catching what and where or where not? ::) (warwick lake and the bay) ;) What do you guys think it might be?
1. More time in the winter indoors?
2. More people enjoy ice fishing instead.
3. Some of them may just not know about this site?
4. Active members on the RI ice site are also active here, maybe a lot of lurkers.
I mean there was someone on here trying to a saturday night league and that seemed to fizzle out because it looked like there were only 3 or 4 people involved and rules and regs could not be ironed out? What are your thoughts the chosen few? Anybody thats wants to fish get in touch here or PM

Warm weather is part of it. Time is better spent outdoors. Just look at what time I am posting this tonight. Ice fishing is more social, I think anyways. As far as the tourneys. Maybe less formal would work out. Kind of like, post a date time and place, whoever shows up, shows up! Throw some cash into a hat and call it a day.
Me & Otis will do our best to stay active on the site.
