The boy and I had our first trip out this year. Went out to a regular hole we like to fish. Started out slow but ended up a good day. Ended up with  8 burbot , and the boy caught the first sturgeon of the season, a recap that came in at 48 in.

Just got back from the river. Not the best day, but beats working hands down. Lots of grass and other junk flowing downstream. No sturgeon this time, but will try again on Sunday. Enjoy the week end.
