driving by the lake I seen a dog on the ice ...looked closer and realized it was a big yote ....tring to stalk up on some geese in the day light ...I pulled over and watched now this was all going on inside the city of fulton ...after awhile he got nervous and took off running across the lake ...5 minutes later he was sneaking up the shore line again looking for a goose diner

I drove by a freshly dead yote tonight but my wife was in the car. >:(
I like yote for some streamer patterns I tie.

I have a big bag of coyote fur I picked up on eBay. If you need some, say the word. Way more than I'll ever need. It's part of the ingredients for the Ausable Ugly. Works good for that style of fly.

Thanks for the offer Bob. I'll hit you up when I need some more. My hunting friends keep saying that they will come through but nothing yet. I actually picked up something similar at the Kittery Trading Post called temple dog.

There's three packs near my home. When I go out to run at 4am during the summer I can hear them all. I can make them start up if I give some loud howls on a quiet morning. I rarely see them. I don't mind them a bit. They keep the ferrel cats in check too.
