Post by: timeflies on Apr 14, 2018, 11:07 AM
been out three or four times last two weeks and havent been able to make anything happen. Got out for a couple hours yesterday and managed to get one 1-2lber right as the sun was going down. Fishing been slow for anyone else?

You have all summer to do that type of fishing. I know you catch carp and that should be your focus this time of year. Pack a method mix around your weight and bring those carp in by the NUMBERS!

if u are fishing your bait slow, fish them slower. I dont use any plastics unless it's a trailer on a jig this time of year. Nor do I use bright colors in cold water. (just a personal theory)
I stick to suspending jerkbaits that I can leave still in water column for up to 30 seconds..long pauses when it's cold catch fish
