Found that out the hard way yesterday.  Hope the finished product comes out well.

Interesting.  Didn't seem like it was in terrible shape but sure it gets enough use it could use an upgrade.  The one they upgraded at goose looks pretty nice.

"The work is tentatively scheduled to begin after Memorial Day weekend in early June.   I expect the work to take approximately 2-3 weeks.

Please direct folks with any questions to our website for the latest news and updates about Lake Buel, Monterey parking lot resurfacing project…..this helps to minimize confusion and mis-communications about the project.  No work is being done on the boat ramp itself, and the Town should not have its weed harvester setup on-site until sometime after the work is completed ad be sure to avoid damage to the new pavement, or it be on-site in the way of our project work."

Fished at Buel yesterday evening.  The new parking lot is really nice.  They got ride of the massive speed bump.

Fishing was decent if you like big gills.  They were in 15-30 fow.  All nice eaters released to live another day.  Highlight was a nice holdover rainbow.  Will be fun to get back out for late fall perching.

Good to hear.  Those speed bumps were ridiculous.  They should be putting in some more pike bait, aka stocked trout, pretty soon.
