tuckertown 11-12-06
« on: Nov 12, 2006, 01:37 PM »

water was clear and 58 wind was blowning like mad at times25+mph. i took sbfMNMIKE out he said he has not wet a line since mermotial day.-poor begger-
so we run to riles creek i have no idea how good this guy is at casting. turns out to be a pretty decent fisherman. he is using just 2 rods. i offer to loan him a rod if he need to -he never did- the day was for sure crank and spinner bait bite. i was fighting the wind alot of the time we started fishing quiet spots well back in the creeks. i kept wondering why i was not catch the bass i know are in these spots.. as we stopped in upper newsome creek i am working the blade thru the dead weeds i turn to look at sbfMNMIKE standing in the back of my boat eating a BANANNA !!! christ all mighty him self could not catch a fish with a nanner in the same boat. i was just a tad upset off -seeing i speficly told him NO BANANNA'S in my boat.. some of you may have seen that put up in the chat room-i just sadly shake my head and started thinking of a cure for this jinx..-which i hear is peanutbutter and clorox-

5 mintues later he hooks up a real good bass on a spinner bait

it went 5.8 on my digital scale. he went on to catch 5 more bass on a spinner bait. the same thing i was throwing..leaving me bewildered and shunked -first time tuckertown slapped me with shunkage in over 2 years.. got to be the blasted nanner..

i shall leave you now as i need to pick up peanut butter and bleach on the way to the car wash with the boat.

OK, I need to add some things to this tale:

1st  -  YES, I specifically asked one week prior if there was any rules of the boat I needed to follow and was told to just not bring a Banana on his boat, :nono: it is bad luck ??? :cookoo: I am emphatically SORRY for this HUGE oversight on my part. :-[
2nd  -  Yes, that was an awesome rush and my biggest ever bucketmouth. ;D Thanks again to Zook for taking me out fishing and getting me out of the wind, it was every bit as windy as he said. :clapping: :thumbup_smilie:
3rd  -  I can really wield my Abu C3 with the Fireline on it, but I had some serious issues with my larger Abu with the mono, I put that rod down and never went back to it. :-[ I was happy enough to be taken out by Zook, I didn't want to overstep any bounds by using his equipment. If I can't even use the gun I brought, what is the sense of even stepping in the woods? :-\ I told Zook I am an amateur fisherman, and I stick by that statement. Zook put me on the spots, I just used educated guesses at where to throw the lure and what kind of lure to throw.
4th  -  I need to correct Zookers catch count for me, I caught a total of 4 bass: the 5.8 was the first fish of the day, I caught 2 more within 10 minutes in the same area that were not keepers, and caught 1 more an hour later that would have kept, maybe 1.5#. It wasn't that bad for him, well, maybe it was, I think he got 1 bump all day. 8)
5th  -  I need to apologize again to Mr Zooker for bringing a Banana in his boat, eating said banana, catching a HOG shortly thereafter, and finally I need to apologize to Mr Zooker for suggesting that he may want to eat a Banana next time. :w00t: I now understand that I may have been rubbing salt in the skunked wound, SORRY. :-[

OH, BTW  I slapped a lure off of Zooks motor cowling 3 different times as well, breaking the bill off of a Rapala. :-[

It was Zooker that blocked out MY eyes in that photo. ::) I believe he was still a bit miffed over nannegate. :P I think he was trying to send a message about me catching all of the fish that day. Now, it is my understanding that the host is SUPPOSED to allow the guest to catch all the fish on the first outing. ;D After that, the host accidently breaks the guests rod so that never happens again. :pinch: Of course, that is just what I thought.

nannermike
bring another nanner even close to my boat and i beat ya with that rod..

i chose the first place we fished as a guess not knowing your skill level i figurded if you could not hit the water if ya feel out of the boat. the less laydowns and nasty stuff we fished. till i could judge your level of compitance your ok fisherman-still can't belive ya brought only TWO RODS..i was being polite and only brought 6 rods - put 2 in the back of my truck while waiting fer ya.

seems like every time i take some one fishing the blasted wind howls-the hell is up with this??

oh i found out that the nanner kiss of death aint just a fresh water thing either.. it has a long colorful history in salt water..

now my boat smells like peanutbutter and bleach better pray it works nannerman..
