JAw
I don't have time right now to tie two flies much less a dozen - in a few weeks maybe. (The wife wouldn't go for the fridge - she might not see me again)

Cider
My wife looked at it the same way but I rationalized with her. She's due (baby) on the Fourth so I explained if I didn't get the kitchen cabinets and my benches done before the baby arrived they wouldn't get done for a long time (she wanted the kitchen done  ;)). I was cutting it close but the kitchen cabinets are done and my hobby benches(only took two months) - although I had to short cut the benches a bit. I originally wanted to dado 4x4's and recess the front rails, etc. but time wouldn't let me. I was also moving my mother during this as my father passed away 8 months ago - that's his flag display in the pic on the shelf on the wall.
I know it's hard when there is no time but you will eventually get to it and good luck with the new job!

Regal vices, one for the roll top desk I picked up at a yard sale few years back and a clamp on rotary Regal for travel.  Plenty of "toys" on the benck, Dr. Slick is a preferred brand.  Have to take some clues from LoneWolf and clean up my bench a bit.....between my reloading bench, flytying and camping area, my "men's room" is fairly (ok, terribly) cluttered.

I wish my benches always looked like that ! Between the fly tying, firearms repair and reloading benches it doesn't stay organized.  :-[
Throw in some kids and the online tourney prizes and it's a disaster area.  ;)
